Item description according to supplier: Darning consists in making a hole disappear by intertwining threads, which will fill up the surface by re-meshing the fabric. Our short darners needles have a longer eye which makes it easier to thread darning yarn (which is thicker) through. They are ideal for darning wool and cotton. Made in France in our factory, from nickel-plated steel, our needles go through 27 manufacturing stages, which guarantees an incomparable slide and an irreproachable tip. The numbering corresponds to the size of each needle, No. 3/0 being the longest and thickest one, and No. 11 the shortest and thinnest one of the series.
